Remote Landscape at the Songtsam Lodge Yading
Songtsam Hotels Resorts & Tours, an award-winning luxury boutique hotel collection located in the Tibet and Yunnan Provinces of China, is excited to open its 18th property, Songtsam Lodge Yading.
Located in Yading Village in China’s Sichuan Province, this 40-room property is surrounded by picturesque mountains, specifically the Three Sacred Mountains of Daocheng, known for representing wisdom, compassion, and courage among locals.
Songtsam Lodge Yading purposefully faces southeast, the direction of the rising sun, providing each room with a breathtaking view of the region’s snow-capped mountain range as well as of the “golden sunrise” every evening.

The resort is also made up of three separate houses, appropriately named Yangmaiyong, Xia’nodorjee and Xiannairi, after the Three Sacred Mountains. Led by the founder of Songtsam, Mr. Baima Duoji, and Songtsam’s in-house engineering team, each house was purposefully designed to look and feel as traditional “Black Zang Houses,” where each is made of natural stone and adorned with by wooden black doors and windows, reflecting the Khamba tradition typically found in Eastern Tibet.
