In celebration of Asia Week New York, from March 13 to 21, over 50 galleries, museums, and auction houses from the tristate area will offer programs and events centered on Asian art. The celebration marks the 100th anniversary of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Asian Art Department, which has several exhibits on the Asia Week roster, including “Painting With Threads” and “A Passion for Jade” (beginning March 14).
