Seven Sages of Japanese Ceramics, the current exhibition at Joan B Mirviss, presents an overview of some of the absolute best modern ceramics made in Japan during the past century. This show is also the concluding exhibition of Joan Mirviss’ 35th anniversary year. Each ceramicist featured in the show was groundbreaking in his approach and technique.
