We’re delighted to share that ARTnews recently spoke with both our new chairperson, Margi Gristina, and our past chairperson and current auction house member, Dessa Goddard, about the momentum of Asia Week New York.
Margi, Senior Specialist, VP of Christie’s Ceramics and Works of Art, highlighted the return of international visitors from China and Hong Kong and noted the energy felt throughout the galleries this season. Meanwhile, Dessa Goddard, senior vice president and US head of Asian art at Bonhams — and a past chairperson of Asia Week New York — told ARTnews the sales set “a very strong note” for the week.
We’re proud to see both past and present leaders spotlighting the energy, resilience, and growing importance of Asia Week New York.
