As the Department of Asian Art at The Metropolitan Museums of Art celebrates its centennial year, 42 galleries from around the world will be exhibiting their arts and artifacts in New York as part of Asia Week New York March 13-21. The Asian art on display, covering 4,000 years, includes painting, sculpture, jewelry, textiles and photographs.
