As the 15th edition of Asia Week New York launches, New York’s major auction houses are gearing up for sales of sought-after artwork and artifacts from across the continent. The annual event is the only one “of its kind in the U.S. promoting Asian art, and fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation for the diverse spectrum of Asian art,” Brendan Lynch, chairman of Asia Week New York, told Penta in a statement.
